Camping with more people? Use multiple tents to create separate comfortable sleeping spaces rather than cramming everyone into one oversized shelter. Just make sure you don’t get stuck with the person who snores.

WHY DID WE DEVELOP THIS TENT?

We wanted a tent people could take camping knowing they had something reliable, functional, practical and genuinely comfortable—something extremely fast to set up, straightforward to pack away and designed to take stress and friction out of camping-based adventures.

We don’t design products backwards from a price point.

We design the best product we absolutely can, using premium, high-specification materials, hardware and components selected for strength, durability, functionality, feel and appearance.

Every aspect of the tent is scrutinised with particular attention to detail.

That doesn’t produce the cheapest option, but it does produce the quality we actually want to bring to market — one that performs exceptionally well, feels good to use and looks great.

BREATHABLE COMFORT INSIDE

A significant air gap between the two layers, together with the mesh ventilation, helps warm, moist air escape and helps manage condensation to support a drier, more comfortable living space.

We spent a disproportionate amount of development time on the part many tents treat as an afterthought—the floor. It is the part you physically live on every time you camp.

Frazer’s lifetime of camping experience, combined with AI-assisted research and development with numerous material mills, coating suppliers and specialists, led to the development of the TerraForce™ floor.

The 420D Oxford polyester is already a substantial and abrasion-resistant floor substrate in its own right. The thick TPU coating then adds exceptional waterproofing and a more comfortable, rubberised feel underfoot.

Tested beyond 10,000 mm — the upper limit of the hydrostatic-head test equipment used.

OVERBUILT WHERE IT COUNTS.

UNPLUG does not design products backwards from the cheapest manufacturing cost. We select substantial materials, reliable components and reinforcement where premature failure would matter.

An Australian rental pilot is planned for late 2026 and into 2027 to prove UNPLUG products in the rental market, beginning on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, with the intention of expanding the concept globally, potentially from the second half of 2027.

STEEL ANCHORING

12 × SOLID-STEEL STAKES — 248 MM / 9.75 IN

Substantial stakes designed for reliable anchoring—not token lightweight pegs that bend in your hand. The extra length often allows the pegs to be seated and removed by hand in suitable ground, helping make setup and pack-down quicker and easier. For firmer ground, a rubber mallet is recommended. The black E-coated finish adds weather resistance.

The straight truth about camping is that setup usually isn’t the worst part. When you’re setting up, the trip is still ahead of you. When you’re packing up, you’re tired, possibly haven’t showered for days, and you’re ready to go home.

Our tents are designed to be almost as straightforward to put away as they are to put up. We’ve included a slightly oversized tent bag and a separate compression strap to give you more room to work with and make getting the tent back into the bag just that little bit easier.

How long does setup take?

The hydraulic frame deploys in seconds. An experienced user can go from opening the carry bag to a completely pegged shelter in approximately 2½ minutes. Ground, weather and experience affect the exact time.

How many people does the tent sleep?

We recommend it as spacious for two adults, comfortable for three children or exceptionally roomy for one.

Is this a backpacking tent?

No. It is designed for car camping, touring and adventure travel where ease, comfort and durability matter more than minimum weight.

What does two-layer construction mean?

The full-coverage outer fly forms the primary weather barrier above a completely separate breathable inner tent, which uses lower privacy panels with mesh ventilation above. A significant air gap separates the two layers. That separation, together with the breathable inner and mesh ventilation, helps warm moist air escape and helps reduce condensation inside the sleeping space while the outer fly handles the weather.

How waterproof is it?

Extremely. The full-coverage outer fly has a PU 5000 mm waterproof rating, while the TerraForce™ floor is rated beyond 10,000 mm and incorporates an approximately 150 mm / 5.9 in raised tub. These are very high waterproof specifications for a camping tent and are designed to provide serious protection in wet ground and heavy-weather conditions. Correct setup, seam condition and avoiding damage remain important in real-world use.

What makes UNPLUG TerraForce™ floors different?

TerraForce™ starts with substantial 420D Oxford polyester—already an unusually heavy-duty base material for a tent floor—and then adds a thick TPU coating. The result is a highly abrasion-resistant floor with exceptional waterproofing and a noticeably more comfortable, rubberised feel underfoot. It combines serious water protection, durability and comfort rather than treating the floor as an afterthought. Tested beyond 10,000 mm — the upper limit of the hydrostatic-head test equipment used.

Can I pack it away wet?

You can pack it temporarily if conditions demand it, but unpack and dry every part completely as soon as practical before storage.

How easy is it to pack back into the bag?

The carry bag is slightly oversized. A separate compression strap helps control and compact the folded tent. One-person pack-down is possible; two people make it easier.
