MEET FRAZER, THE FOUNDER OF UNPLUG

THE NEED TO UNPLUG

We ALL need to take dedicated breaks from technology, turn off our phones, take off our watches and immerse ourselves in nature.

Exchange your overwhelmed and overstimulated state, with a sense of peace, wonder and calm, in a place where you can take a moment to just BE PRESENT.

When we UNPLUG we give ourselves a chance to reset, to assess things for what they really are. We need to UNPLUG in order to reconnect to ourselves, to our loved ones and with nature.

NATURE IS CHEAPER
THAN THERAPY

We believe that EVERYONE NEEDS TO UNPLUG regularly by taking a short hike, swim or even an unscheduled walk around their locality. It will do wonders for mental health and relationships.

For this reason we believe that frequent and longer UNPLUGs (camping) for a minimum of 48-72 hours are crucial.

Nature is cheaper than therapy and it is generous and abundant to all who can allocate time to make regular appointments with it.

BETTER THAN ANY
NETFLIX BINGE

I love the way a campfire brings out great conversation. You never gather around the microwave to talk, share a drink and laugh. There’s something primal about it.

It has been the meeting point for humanity since man conquered fire. A night around a campfire will do more for your mental state and relationships then any Netflix binge will ever do.

WHAT WE DO AT UNPLUG

So what’s the answer? How do we make camping easier so it’s not so daunting?

This is what UNPLUG is all about. UNPLUG has a vision to encourage people to UNPLUG, inspire confidence through solid and practical advice and provide quality products that make outdoor adventures both easy and enjoyable.

CONNECTION & MEMORIES

Have you noticed how kids or yourself behave after spending hours on screens? They typically are less happy, lack energy, are less patient and generally a lot less engaging.

Compare that with shared times together hiking, swimming, fishing then sitting around a campfire. Suddenly stories are being shared, YOU’RE CONNECTING and they go back home asking when you can do it all again.
